I chose University of Mannheim due to its great reputation and high quality teaching, especially in the field of accounting and finance that I’m interested in. This learning experience greatly complements with my study of general management in Canada. I’ve learned not only advanced theoretical knowledge here but also empirical and practical methods to understand the real world. The teachers here are all experts in the area and are very patient and kind to answer students’ question. I would say you really need to study hard at Mannheim but you would get great payoff if you invest time and efforts.

The international office here also does a great job to organize a lot of events and city trips which give me the opportunity to make friends with other exchange students and enjoy life in Germany.

When I first got email informing that I got a room in L2,2-4 by lottery, I felt so lucky. I loved living here, a great location, a cozy apartment, a cheap rent and most importantly, friendly welcome center staff. It also provides us a convenient place to talk about case studies or travel plans.

The exchange experience at Mannheim left great memories for me. And I really appreciate Ekkehard Foundation for this wonderful offer. I am sure that I make a right choice coming to study at University of Mannheim!
